AITA for rolling my eyes at my ex's wife when she asked me for compassion?

I feel bad for the protagonist's ex-husband. He's the one married to this looney, he has to deal with her insanity. He even tells his ex-wife that his current wife is insecure. How absolutely embarrassing for her. I'm not sure why he would tolerate this kind of behavior from his wife.

This woman is insane. It's one thing to want or encourage your stepchildren to form a bond with you, but you can't force them. It's also something different entirely to tell them to their face that you're their real mother! Talk about mental asylum. She's a real piece of work.

“I rolled my eyes at her when she asked me for compassion”: Woman apathetic when ex’s new wife attempts to bond with stepchildren, she gets court ordered to stop forcing the relationship
Hey there ladies and gents of the infamous internet. No one going into marriage expects to get divorced, yet more than half of couples end up sundered at some point. It's one of the most heartbreaking things. I can barely cope with a normal breakup from a boyfriend of a year or two, not having lived together. I couldn't imagine the pain and anguish of separating from a spouse when you've built your lives together like this for so long. Living together, splitting assets, losing money on lawyers, breaking bank ties, and if you have children having to deal with the headache and nightmare of custody.
We're all familiar with the "evil stepmother" from fairytales, real life, and other works of fiction. But how bad is bad? Jealousy, possessiveness, cruelty are just a few of the traits these snakes can have.
In the story below, the protagonist is a woman who has two children with her ex-husband. He's remarried to a fruit loop of a gal. She's a little quirky…to say the least. She doesn't just expect her stepchildren to treat her like their bio mom, she genuinely tries to impersonate her! So if you're interested in reading about crazy people, scroll below for the full scoop.
